Promotional film for the Poznań Fortress Days
My task was to create a promotional film for an association managing a historic site in Poznań.
Challenge
SPH Boyen needed a film to encourage tourists to visit Fort Ia in Poznań during the Fortress Days. I received a script and plan; the set was prepared with volunteers. My job was to capture the best footage and edit a film that was both accessible and enticing.
Solution
On set I directed the actors for best results and improvised additional scenes for historical atmosphere. In post-production I used voice acting from colleagues, incorporated archival materials, created sample propaganda pieces and converted colour footage to black and white.
Result
The film contributed to one of the highest visitor turnouts the event has seen. The collaboration was pro bono.
